Outdoor Drains are Only Rain! Protect Our Streams, Rivers, Lakes, and Water Supplies
All liquids that enter storm drains will eventually end up in our streams, rivers, lakes, and water supplies.

Household hazardous waste such as leftover paint, chemicals, solvents, and automotive fluids should never be dumped down the storm drain or on the ground because they go directly to our streams, rivers, lakes, and water supplies. Instead of dumping them, there are safer ways to dispose of hazardous household waste that do not threaten our water quality or public health.
In an effort to prevent hazardous household waste contamination, the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District attempts to make the disposal of hazardous household waste more convenient for County residents. CLICK HERE for more information.
