EXEMPTIONS TO THE 10-TIRE PER VEHICLE LIMIT ARE AVAILABLE:

Exemptions from the 10-tire per vehicle limit can be obtained from the Ohio EPA. Residents will need to email their request to DMWMScrapTire@epa.ohio.gov and include the following information:

• 1) The number of tires to be transported
• 2) The property location (address) the tires will be transported from
• 3) The name and date of the collection event to be attended (Clermont County Fairgrounds, 1000 Locust Street, Owensville, Sept 11 & 12, 2026)

If the request is approved, the Ohio EPA will then email the exemption permit to the resident, which will allow for the resident to transport more than 10 tires to the disposal event. Please allow 2-3 business days to receive a response from the Ohio EPA. These exemptions are for tires originating from households or farms only. Private businesses such as car lots, trucking companies, landscapers, or junk haulers are not eligible to participate in this tire disposal event.
