Schedule of Various Township Junk Disposal Events

Several townships in Clermont County host clean-up events annually, also known as "junk days", where residents can drop off furniture, debris, or other large items that are typically difficult to dispose of. These events are not affiliated with the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District, and are funded entirely by the hosting township as a service to their residents.

Hazardous waste, paint, and tires are not accepted at these events. For information about household hazardous waste or paint disposal, CLICK HERE. Some townships have additional restrictions on the type or amount of items a resident can bring, and some townships require mattresses to be wrapped in plastic prior to disposal. Please contact the hosting township for additional information.

Each event is only open for residents of the hosting township/village - proof of residency will be required.

Village of New Richmond (Village Residents Only)

Wayne Township

Located at the Wayne Township Hall, 6320 State Route 133, Goshen.

Union Township - No junk days will be scheduled in the future. Beginning on April 20, 2026, each household will have access for up to two vouchers per year for disposal of items at the new Rumpke Transfer Depot at 5180 Champions Way. Vouchers must be picked up in person at the Union Township Service Department. For questions call 513-753-2221 or click HERE

Pierce Township - No junk days will be scheduled in the future, however free large item pickup is available once per week. Call Rumpke at 1-800-828-8171 to schedule at least 48 hours in advance. More information can be found HERE

Franklin Township - No junk days will be scheduled in the future.
A roll-off dumpster is available for residents use, by appointment only
