Car tires can be disposed of at most area tire retailers or salvage yards for a reasonable fee.

The Rumpke Union Township Transfer Depot accepts car tires for $6 off-rim and $9 on-rim. Truck tires are accepted for $12 off-rim and $22 on-rim. Tractor tires are accepted for $40 off-rim and $74 on-rim.

Adams Waste and Recycling accepts any amount of tires (on-rim or off-rim) for only 12 cents per pound.
